Goshala (Animal Shelter)
The goshala (animal shelter) of Adi KAILĀSA was established to promote and educate about the ethical treatment of animals. It advocates the best practices for the care of animals and production of completely cruelty-free, ahimsa (non-violent) animal products such as milk and ghee. In accordance with KAILĀSA’s goal of sustainability, all products are used, including the cow dung which is made into dried cakes to be used for various traditional purposes. The SPH is the world’s foremost advocate for non-violence and elevating each one to Super Conscious breakthrough. “Let us not be possessive. Let us not try to make this Planet Earth exclusively for human beings. Let’s stop this delusional greed. The greed of human beings has reached to the level of delusion. We are in a delusion of thinking that we can make Planet Earth exclusively for human being.” 16 April 2020 Global Presidential Address by The SPH
